Materials and finishes
Every product page lists its current batch material and finish.
What the range is made from
The range uses recycled polyester satin, cotton voile, cotton-rich sock yarns, leather or recycled-leather belt bases, cotton canvas, recycled nylon, acetate-effect resin and wool-blend knits. Exact composition is listed on each product page.
Composition is declared as a percentage on every product page, in the specification table, before you reach the basket. If a piece contains a metallic fibre, elastane or a coated finish, it is listed there rather than described loosely as “blend”.
How we describe things
We call this range vintage-inspired. That means newly made stock chosen for an archive mood — the print scale, the colour depth, the hardware tone. It does not mean the pieces are old, rare, second-hand or collectable, and we do not use those words on this site.
Where a belt or bag is described as vegan leather or coated, it is a synthetic material and is labelled as such. Where a piece is real leather, the product page says leather. We do not describe a synthetic as leather to make it sound more expensive.
Small-run differences
Colour depth and hardware tone may vary slightly between runs. We list each product by its current batch so the piece you order matches the photography as closely as possible.
Restricted materials
Nothing in the range contains fur, exotic skins, or materials restricted under CITES. We do not sell children's sleepwear, PPE, medical devices or any other category subject to its own safety regime. Everything on this site is ordinary adult fashion accessories, sold online under SIC code 47910 Retail sale via mail order houses or via Internet.
Allergies and sensitivities
If you react to wool, nickel or elastane, read the composition on the product page before ordering and email us if anything is unclear. Hardware is nickel-plated or brass unless the product page says otherwise. If a piece turns out not to suit you, the standard return window applies.
