Privacy policy

UNICI CLOTHING LTD is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. This notice explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and what you can ask us to do.

Last updated 1 September 2026. This policy is written by UNICI CLOTHING LTD and applies to everything sold at uniciclothing.shop.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is UNICI CLOTHING LTD, company number 17378202, registered office 71 Woodland Drive, Leicester, LE3 3EB, United Kingdom. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to. Data protection questions go to support@uniciclothing.shop or +44 7518 683 971.

We do not run advertising or analytics tracking on this site, we do not build behavioural profiles, and we do not buy or sell personal data.

3. Our lawful bases

  • Performance of a contract — processing your order, delivering it, handling returns and refunds.
  • Legal obligation — keeping accounting records for the period UK tax law requires, and responding to lawful requests.
  • Legitimate interests — keeping the website secure, preventing fraud and card testing, and answering enquiries. We have balanced these against your rights and consider the impact minimal.
  • Consent — only if you ever opt in to a mailing list. We do not currently operate one, and we do not add customers to marketing lists automatically.

4. Who we share data with

We share the minimum necessary with the following categories of processor:

  • Our payment provider — to take payment, screen for fraud and process refunds. They act as a controller in their own right for the card data you enter on their page.
  • Delivery carriers — your name, delivery address and, where given, phone number and email, so the parcel can be delivered and tracked.
  • Our hosting and email providers — who store the site and our correspondence on our behalf under written terms.
  • Our accountant and, where legally required, HM Revenue & Customs.

We do not share personal data with anyone else, and we do not sell it under any circumstances.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers operate outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred abroad it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with appropriate technical safeguards.

6. How long we keep things

  • Order and payment records: six years from the end of the financial year, as UK tax law requires.
  • Customer correspondence: two years from the last message, unless it relates to an ongoing dispute.
  • Server logs: up to 30 days.
  • Basket contents: held in your own browser, not on our servers, until you clear them.

7. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have data erased, where we no longer have a lawful reason to keep it;
  • restrict or object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
  • receive data you gave us in a portable, machine-readable form;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where consent was the basis;
  • not be subject to a decision made solely by automated means with legal or similarly significant effect. We do not make such decisions, other than our payment provider's automated fraud screening, which you can ask us to review manually.

Email support@uniciclothing.shop to exercise any of these. We respond within one month and there is no charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity first so that we do not disclose data to the wrong person.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to order data is limited to the people who need it to pack and support orders, and is protected by unique accounts with multi-factor authentication. We hold no cardholder data. If a breach ever occurs that is likely to risk your rights, we will notify the Information Commissioner within 72 hours and tell you without undue delay.

9. Children

This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly sell to or collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

10. Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. See our cookie policy for the full list of what is stored in your browser and why.

11. Complaints

Please raise any concern with us first at support@uniciclothing.shop. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, or via ico.org.uk.

12. Changes

We update this notice when our processing changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and material changes are announced on the homepage for 30 days.
