Accessibility
We want this shop to be usable however you browse it. This page sets out what we have done, what we know is not perfect, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
Last updated 1 September 2026. This policy is written by UNICI CLOTHING LTD and applies to everything sold at uniciclothing.shop.
1. The standard we aim at
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. That is the standard UK public bodies must meet, and we hold ourselves to it voluntarily.
2. What is in place
- Body text and interface text meet or exceed the AA contrast ratio against their background.
- Every product image carries alternative text describing the piece and its colour.
- Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, and focus is always visible.
- A skip link at the top of each page jumps straight past the navigation to the content.
- Headings are used in order, so screen reader users can navigate by structure.
- Form fields have real labels, and errors are announced rather than shown only by colour.
- Nothing important is communicated by colour alone — sold-out and reduced items are labelled in words.
- Text reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a 320 pixel viewport and at 200 percent zoom.
- Motion respects the “reduce motion” setting in your operating system: the marquee stops, animations are removed, and background video is not relied on to convey anything.
- Videos are decorative, silent and carry no essential information, so they need no captions.
3. Known limitations
- The product gallery uses thumbnail buttons rather than a carousel. This is deliberate, but it means there is no swipe gesture on touch devices — use the thumbnails instead.
- Our payment provider's hosted payment page is outside our control. We have chosen a provider that publishes its own accessibility conformance report, but we cannot fix issues on that page ourselves. Tell us if you hit one and we will raise it with them and take your order by phone in the meantime.
4. Ordering another way
If any part of this site stops you completing an order, phone +44 7518 683 971 between 9am and 5pm UK time, Monday to Friday, and we will take the order with you and send a payment link. There is no extra charge and no difference in price or delivery.
5. Telling us about a problem
Email support@uniciclothing.shop with the page address, what you were trying to do and what happened. If you can tell us the browser and assistive technology you use, that helps us reproduce it. We acknowledge within two working days and aim to fix confirmed accessibility issues within 20 working days.
